Happy New Year myVMK! Let’s celebrate the start of a new decade by bringing some of the most fun parts about visiting the parks to the game! Grab your spirit jerseys, penny press collector journals and autograph books as we explore some of our favorite attractions and park activities together!

Wander through Main Street to the Emporium for this week’s releases! Enjoy some positively tasty treats from the park with a Pixar Pier Frosty and Pacific Wharf Chowder furniture! Don’t forget to grab a Mickey Ice Cream to carry with you throughout the parks. Don’t run too fast through the attractions’ gift shops or you’ll miss the Soarin’ Hoodie,Grizzly River Run Hat, and Incredicoaster Pin!
Join us for our HOST events this month and see what some of your favorite HOSTs have been working on just for you! For the third week of January, winners will receive a Spirit Jersey - Animal Kingdom, those defeated will receive a Pin Lanyard - Animal Kingdom, and the queue prize is a Animal Kingdom Pin!
Join us this month for our exciting pin trading events! Escape the sinister First Order by bartering galactic contraband for official First Order insignia.

Join the MyVMK Staff for an impromptu game of Hide and Seek! All throughout the month, the staff will be hosting Hide and Seek games and hiding in public rooms only. Games will be announced as an in-game announcement and on our Twitter (@MyVMK) 15 minutes before the game begins. To win, you must find a staff member that is hidden, STAND NEXT to them, and be the first to say the following statement: “I found you (StaffMemberName)!” Please note that the rules have recently changed, and players must WAIT to say the winning phrase until standing NEXT to the hidden staff member, rather than saying the winning statement as they enter the room, or while walking towards the staff member. Perfect grammar and punctuation is not required, but make sure to use the correct prefix (VMK_/HOST_/GA_/QA_) and try your best to type the statement correctly. Any magic used for an unfair advantage will result in a disqualification in the room the player is currently in. Winners will be up to the discretion of the staff member hiding.
Pull this month's exclusive pins from the Sword in the Stone! For a chance to win, ride the rides in the Fantasyland Courtyard and you will have a chance at getting a Sword in the Stone pin! You can use this pin to have a chance at pulling the sword from the stone, and if you succeed, you will win one of these pins as a prize or some credits!
Avast there mateys! Sail on over to the Pirates Treasure room for a chance to plunder some great loot! Be sure to collect as many of these treasures as ye can before they are sent back to Davy Jones Locker! Available all month!
Have you seen Maleficent Mistress of Evil, Frozen II, or Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker? Send a message to HOST_Nala on the forums, or jadiesaurr#7783 on discord with a picture of your ticket to score one of these pins! Offer is valid while the movies are still in the theater.
Join us at midnight on January 26th for HOST_Crash’s Expedition Everest Quest! The quest will require scores of 40,000 in Jungle Cruise, 4,000 in Castle Fireworks - Remixed, and 80 ghosts in Haunted Mansion.
The quest will run for 24 hours. Reminder that players are not allowed to clone, share accounts, or receive task skips during this quest. Players found breaking these rules may have their prizes revoked.

What is your favorite thing to do around the Kingdom?
Trading.
What is the best item for building your rooms?
Trees. They’re great for filling in empty spaces and they can really change the look of a room.
What has been your favorite HOST event thus far?
The Spooky Ride-A-Thon that showcased players’ rooms and their creativity. I also like that players get to decide what item(s) they want from the shop with their ride points.
What is your favorite mini-game in MyVMK?
Jungle Cruise!
What is your favorite type of Guest Room?
Amy has added a few new ones that are incredible like the Nightmare Before Christmas and Nightmare Before Christmas Holiday that I completely fell in love with.
Favorite MyVMK memory?
When the game first opened and everyone would ride a ride track in a circle in Amy’s room and just talk for hours. No prizes were given out. Just being happy that the game was open again, making new friends, and catching up with old ones.
What is your favorite Public Room in the Kingdom?
Injun Joe’s Cave with all the bling!
What is your favorite theme on VMK?
Christmas with the decorated public rooms, music, cute outfits, festive items, parades and special events.
What is your favorite Disney park?
Magic Kingdom, then Animal Kingdom, then Hollywood Studios, and Epcot last. Hollywood Studios would rate much higher if they eliminated the FastPass tier system (anyone with me?).
