It’s Tropical Month here on MyVMK and we’re ready for some fun in the sun! Grab a beach towel and your most stylish shades, and join us as we spend an adventurous month catching some rays, exploring the tropics, and hula dancing the night away! This month will be one in a melon so let’s seas the day and kick off the start of summer just right!

We are stoked to announce that we will be having a June Tropical Best Multi Guest Ride Competition this month! This is a team competition. Teams must be between 3-5 individuals. Sign ups will begin on June 7th. The last day to submit your rooms will be midnight on June 28th.
Theme: Tropical
How to Invite Your Teammates: To assemble your team, all you must do is have a continuous ride with rooms connected by ride teleporters (think ALR/PPR). If the user is already a part of another team they will not be allowed to join your team. The final choice of your team must be made by 6/13/19 at 11:59PM
New Sign Up Directions: ONLY the owner of the START room must do this! To enter, go to the starting room of your ride, type "!entertropicalcomp" without quotations in the chat bar and hit enter. You'll know you've done it right if you receive a popup saying "Entered the room you are in as the ride start room! Remember, only the team leader needs to do this. If you did it in error, please send a call for help." If you are not getting this popup, send a call for help, and we will be more than happy to assist you! Your teammates will automatically be included as long as the ride runs through their room. If you are registered to more than one start room, you and your team might be subject to disqualification!
Please check out additional rules below:
1. You can only be apart of 1 team at a time.
2. You will not be able to leave a team after June 14th.
3. If a room is included in your ride by a non-team member, you may be subject to disqualification.
4. Each ride must be at least 5 minutes long. There will be special slow down tracks released in the store.
5. You will be able to slow your ride down if needed. One track will half the speed the ride is going.
6. The owner of the first room will need to mark your first room as the start room using the command above.
7. The ride must be continuous. Your ride is not allowed to stop at any point until you reach the end.
8. Aside from the start and end rooms, there will only be two ride teleporters allowed in each room: one to enter, and one to exit. Start and end rooms should only have one ride teleporter each.
9. Your start room must be owned by one of your team members. It may not include a room owned by someone outside of your team.
10. Room titles must not include or allude to the names of the team members. This will keep the judging fair and unbiased.
Please note, double credits for all minigames will start June 6th and be available again on Saturday June 8th, Sunday June 16th and Saturday June 22nd.
A Room Judging Flag will be placed in your room once it has been judged. Rooms must show effort. Rooms that are thought to not show effort will be disqualified. Guest created Guest or Game Rooms demonstrate originality in concept and design. Our judges are looking for creativity, so try using traditional items in different and unique ways. Rooms are judged randomly by MyVMK Staff every month and selected from guest rooms.

Join Question in Little Village in the Mountains! There's a very remote village up in those mountains over there, completely cut off from society. However, they thrive from the flora and fauna that surrounds their quaint home. It's quite amazing, I would love to visit one day.

May 2019 Best Game Room
Check out Coordinates to the Throne by Extreme! Your pirate crew has discovered a new island off the coast of MyVMK. However, another crew has shown up claiming they discovered the same island first! Two of you will compete to see who can get the throne of the island first. Each player will step up to the Stairs of the Chosen - one on each side of the coordinate generators. Each must spin their first generator and find their first coordinate. When I say begin, go up each step matching each coordinate to your first. Whichever pirates manages to match all of their generators will find their way to the throne, going down in history. The other, will be lost in the sea of the forgotten.

Check out the Hidden Fairy Kingdom by SunshinyCashew and Retro. Stumbling through a cave on one of your many explorations you come across a warm glow at the end of the cave. Could this be the fabled Fairy Kingdom in all the storybooks? One thing is for sure though, if this is the Fairy Kingdom from the stories then you best not be caught by the Fairy Queen lest she imprison you in her dungeon for trespassing!

What is your favorite thing to do around the Kingdom?
Interacting with players is definitely my favorite thing to do around the Kingdom! Answering questions and sharing game tips has been a wonderful way to get to know the players. If you see me in game, please don’t hesitate to say hello! It truly makes my day!
What is your favorite mini-game in MyVMK?
I’m always down for a competitive game of POTC Ship Battle! Pew pew!
What is your favorite type of Guest Room?
Ariel’s Grotto is my all time favorite guest room! It is GORGEOUS! I mean, there’s animated bubbles and mermaid tails, what more could you want??
Favorite MyVMK memory?
This past Earth Day, VMK_Perdita helped transform one of my drawings into an actual pin! I’m so proud of our teamwork to get it in game and working on it together was a blast.
What is your favorite Public Room in the Kingdom?
The Penny Arcade has recently become one of my favorite public rooms. It’s a great room to hide during Hide and Seek ;) and I love sitting down to play a game of Sketchy!
What is your favorite theme on VMK?
There’s been tons of fantastic themes, but Splash Into Summer Month tops the cake for me! I remember how competitive players were as we handed out baseball caps during Hide and Seek. It made those events all the more exciting for me!
What is your favorite Disney park?
I truly love them all, and the addition of Pandora to Animal Kingdom was a dream come true, but there is just something about Magic Kingdom that makes my heart race. I’ll forever cherish the memory of watching the Happily Ever After fireworks show from the sidewalk of Main Street for the first time!
Who is your favorite Disney Character?
Of course I have mad love for my favorite Disney birb Hei Hei, but I also have a special place in my heart for Hercules, Rapunzel, Eeyore, and Koda, just to name a few!
Is there any advice you would give to guests?
Above anything else, please do all things with kindness in your heart.
