Chapter Two: Mary Poppins
Once upon a time, there was a magical kingdom called MyVMK. In the warm month of August, the MyVMK staff decided to celebrate one of the many magical things in the world of Disney: Storybooks! It was told that the month would feature a new storybook based film or TV show each week, which is continued with the most Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious film of all time, Mary Poppins. It is a tale of two children who named Jane and Michael Banks who are apart of a wealthy and uptight family. When these two children are faced with the problem of needing a new Nanny they want nothing more in the world than to have the most perfect Nanny in the world. As if the world was listening to them, the two children are given their wish of a perfect Nanny when Mary Poppins magically arrives as if falling from the sky on her umbrella. This story allows the children to embark on a epic adventure along with Mary and Bert, one of Mary's most dearest friends. It is pratically perfect in every way! The kingdom will see host prizes and releases based on this story. What story could next week bring?

Join us for our HOST events this month and see what some of your favorite HOSTs have been working on just for you! Winners will receive an Umbrella Chair, those defeated will receive Penguin Waiter, and the queue prize is a Mary Poppins Pin!
Join the MyVMK Staff for an impromptu game of Hide and Seek! All throughout the month, the staff will be hosting Hide and Seek games and hiding in public rooms only. Games will be announced as an in-game announcement and on our Twitter (@MyVMK) 15 minutes before the game begins. To win, you must find a staff member that is hidden and be the first to say the following statement exactly: "I found you (StaffMemberName)!". Make sure to use the correct prefix (VMK_/HOST_/GA_).
If you win, you can choose one of the three hats pictured above. You are allowed to win only two times per hide and seek event. The staff will not hide in rooms where players are already sitting. Do not "camp out"! This will ensure everyone has a fair chance at finding the staff members. Good luck out there seekers!

Check out Ducky Dash by waterfallglow! Duck.. Duck.. Duck.. DASH!! Splash on in and swim with the ducks in this ever thrilling speed race of cool summer fun. Will you be the first to match your generators and pop open the umbrella?
Game Rules: I will start out by saying "Duck.. Duck.. Duck..". When I say "DASH", spin your generator ONCE and jump into the water. Then swim across the pond of ducks and sit on your stump (next to your colored generator) on other side. Next, start spinning the second generator and try to match the number with your first generator. Once both generator numbers are the same, jump back in and swim back over to the stump you started at. After that, quickly double click the umbrella on the table. The first one to have matching generators and open their umbrella wins!

What is your favorite thing to do around the Kingdom?
My favorite thing to do is go into Fantasyland Courtyard and talk with the players! I honestly love spending time anywhere with them!
What program do you use for designing?
I use firealpaca, been using it for two years now and I find it very useful for MyVMK designs!
What has been your favorite item you’ve made so far?
My favorite item to make was the ghost pet! Was my first item I ever made and I love it like a child
What is your favorite mini-game in MyVMK?
Haunted Mansion! You can work as a team even though you are on opposite sides
What is your favorite type of Guest Room?
I love seeing the courtrooms, it makes me laugh when people role play court cases
Favorite MyVMK memory?
My favorite memory has to be from July's hide and seek. I remember having so much fun with interacting with everyone and making people laugh!
What is your favorite Public Room in the Kingdom?
My favorite public room has to be the Sci-Fi Dine In. I remember how in the original game, people would go "on dates" and it makes me nostalgic.
What is your favorite theme on VMK?
My favorite theme so far has been the Disney Channel theme. Brought back a lot of memories!
What is your favorite Disney park?
Favorite park would be Epcot! It is not only fun but educational!
Who is your favorite Disney Character?
Favorite disney character is Boo! She doesnt judge by appearance and honestly did so much being only 2 years old
Is there any advice you would give to guests?
My advice is have fun and roleplay your heart out. Those two things can make your experience with MyVMK so much better and memorable!
