There's an old saying that goes around that says "never forget your roots." Well we are definitely not forgetting our roots this month! Please join us this month for VMK Anniversary Month!! We are celebrating the opening of the original VMK this month and have a lot of amazing things planned for it! Keep checking back here for all the news and updates you need for this month!

The new client alpha is now out for everyone to enjoy! To enter, just hit the big blue button that says ENTER (ALPHA) after you login to the website. We hope you enjoy the hard work that has been put into this, and any feedback is welcome! You can post feedback about the new client on our official forums! Head on over to Shruken Ned's Shop to get this week’s adventurous releases! We've dug up some of our all time favorite Adventureland inspired original VMK items. Grab your favorite explorer outfit in green or khaki and pick up the boots to go with it. Pack your suitecase and take your pirates map down the canal in a red canoe to find some treasure! It seems like the Captain of this treasure is still sleeping on his couch. Better be quick in grabbing the Hong Kong - Adventureland pin or he might just wake up. These items are available until May 10th!

Guest created Guest or Game Rooms demonstrate originality in concept and design. Our judges are looking for creativity, so try using traditional items in different and unique ways. Rooms are judged randomly by MyVMK Staff every month and selected from guest rooms.

What is your favorite thing to do around the Kingdom?
Hosting events and hanging out with the players!! I love getting to know everyone on a more personal level!
What is the best item for building your rooms?
Hmmm.. For me, the best item for building my HOST rooms depends on the theme of the month! I especially love finding creative ways to incorporate OG VMK items into my rooms each month!
What has been your favorite HOST event thus far?
My favorite event that I’ve hosted has definitely been “Don’t Get Cooked!” It was absolutely hysterical to watch everyone frantically run away from that creepy Chef Skinner!
What is your favorite mini-game in MyVMK?
Pirates has been my favorite minigame for as long as I can remember, but lately I’ve been OBSESSED with Star Commander!
What is your favorite type of Guest Room?
My favorite types of Guest Rooms are those that incorporate ride pieces in some way. I LOVE riding around aimlessly on ride tracks!
Favorite MyVMK memory?
My favorite MyVMK memory so far would probably be my welcome party when I joined the staff team. I’ll never forget the amazing outpouring of love and welcoming I felt from all of the players!
What is your favorite Public Room in the Kingdom?
Definitely Fantasyland in the Sky! There’s just something SO magical about that room.
What is your favorite theme on VMK?
I love all of the holidays on VMK, but especially Halloween and Christmas. The decorations add so much magic to the kingdom!
What is your favorite Disney park?
Definitely EPCOT! The combination of Disney magic and innovation have always amazed me.
Who is your favorite Disney Character?
Rafiki of course! He’s so wise!
Is there any advice you would give to guests?
Be safe, be wise, and most importantly be kind. ALWAYS be kinder than you feel. It costs nothing to show a little bit of kindness, and even the smallest act of kindness can go such a long way. Everyone has their own struggles, and everyone comes to MyVMK for an escape from the troubles of reality, so be kind to one another and have fun!! Oh, and stay FREAKY!!
