Join us for impromptu games of Hide and Seek with MyVMK Staff! All throughout the month, the staff will be hosting Hide and Seek games and hiding in public rooms only. Find one and you will receive one of these pins from Piglet's Big Game at random! Games will be announced as an in-game announcement and on our Twitter (@MyVMK) 15 minutes before the game begins. To win, you must find a staff member that is hidden, STAND NEXT to them, and be the first to say the following statement: “I found you (StaffMemberName)!”

Please note that players must WAIT to say the winning phrase until standing NEXT to the hidden staff member, rather than saying the winning statement as they enter the room, or while walking towards the staff member. Perfect grammar and punctuation is not required, but make sure to use the correct prefix (VMK_/HOST_/GA_/PROMO_/GR_) and try your best to type the statement correctly. Any magic used for an unfair advantage will result in a disqualification in the room the player is currently in. Winners will be up to the discretion of the staff member hiding.

 

 

 

 

 

Mayday! Mayday! An asteroid is heading straight for Main Street USA! We must build a defense! Or at least a ride…

 

 

Greetings earthlings! They say good things come in threes. A new year, a new theme, and a new competition! In honor of our stellar new theme, why not bring in a out of this world competition! Every star needs a second star to the right, right? All good things come in pairs, so naturally… Welcome to the next duos challenge! Now, what does this entail? Well, read below to find out. Let’s begin to dissect these details!

 

1. Each team must be a duo. No more and no less than TWO guests.

2. There is a minimum of FIVE rooms per duo. A maximum of TEN is allowed.

3. The rooms must be made using Space Mountain ride pieces and teleporters. You may use slow or fast dark ride starts to change your rides speed. You may also use any of the various ride starts if you wish. Just make sure they match whatever aesthetic your ride may be.

4. You may create a duo name for your team. Make sure it is appropriate. Ex: Stellar Duo, Space Duo, Nebular Duo, Cosmic Duo, etc…

5. Decide who will be your team leader. Their room will be the first on the journey.

6. Your first room will be (Team Name) Duo - Start (owned by the team leader). Each room after the start must be named (Team Name) Duo 2, (Team Name) Duo 3, (Team Name) Duo 4, and so on.

7. BOTH team members must contribute to the competition. ONE team member cannot build everything. This is a teamwork event. Anyone found to be building alone or for others will be disqualified.

8. Make sure all rooms are connected. Once judging starts, if your rooms are not connected, they will not count.

9. Be aware, you may only be a part of ONE duo.

10. Please make rides long enough to enjoy the room. While there is no set minimum time overall or per room, make sure each room is a decent length and continuous (no breaks/stops).

11. Feel free to be creative. While our primary theme is Space and the tracks are Space Mountain related, this does not limit you to either. Have fun trying to get creative with it!

12. All ride rooms must show a MINIMUM EFFORT. Any rooms found to show no effort or attempt will be disqualified.

13. All rooms must be completed by the dates listed in the next set of guidelines.

 

The guidelines for registering are as follows:

1. Sign-ups begin on Monday, January 13th, 2025 at 12:00 AM EST.

2. Registration will close on Friday, February 28th, 2025 at 11:59 EST.

3. All rooms must be completed by Friday, March 14th, 2025 at 11:59 EST.

4. Once signed up, you may change any info (whether it be teammate, team leader, or duo name) until Sunday, January 26th, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. After that, all duos are final and may not be changed.

5. Only your team leader should register.

6. Please list both your name and your partner's name on the signup form.

7. Submit a name for your duo, that you both agree on.

8. All sign-ups must be connected to your ride leaders in-game account.

 

All rides will be judged on three categories:

Best Theme, Most Creative, and Best Overall

 

For each category, there will be ONE Grand Prize team and THREE Runner-up teams. The staff judges will decide what category your room falls under. To maintain fairness, they will be provided with a form where all rides will be shown via a YouTube link WITHOUT player names.

 

Judging will begin on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at 12:00 AM. Your rooms must be completed before then. Judging time may vary. We will be giving you more information regarding this as the time comes.

 

A staff member will place a flag in your room once it has been judged. Please do not empty or clear any rooms until judging has been completed. Feel free to leave your rooms open for the public to see!

 

Please make a note: Neglecting to follow any of the rules stated above may put your duo at risk of disqualification. No clones or multiple accounts are permitted to be used during this competition.

 

We cannot wait to see all your creations! Time to see who blasts us out of this world and who go super nova! All prizes will be announced at the end of the judging. Safe travels, astronauts!

 

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of any of our beloved guests. Although they are gone, we are thankful for the time they spent in our very own Virtual Magic Kingdom. We encourage you to leave your condolences or share a memory of their time here as guests on this Forums post.

We are proud to announce the release of our new Bug Reporting tool. We’re calling it the Cy-Bug Reports Google Form and you’ll have direct access to report any technical issues you find while exploring the kingdom. When reporting an issue, please be sure to fill out all required fields. Here are some examples of issues that could be reported (please do not report these as they’ve already been documented):

-Friends lists are not populating until you double click on the middle of the menu

-Puppet String hat gets stuck on avatar

-Photos are sometimes warped when you use the MyVMK Camera

 

Please note that the following issues should NOT be reported in this form, and should be reported as a Call for Help in game:

- Item(s) missing from your inventory

-Not receiving a HOST event prize when you believe you should have

-Issues with tasks in a Quest

You may need to reduce the size of the screenshot if the file size is too large for your submission. I really enjoy The Great Mouse Detective! I have good childhood memories associated with that movie.

My favorite theme park is EPCOT. I love the rides there and the whole concept of unity and being kind to each other and to the planet. I've actually gone Scuba Diving in the Seas Pavilion!

Evinrude from the Rescuers! They're always there for you.

Scar. In real life, I too find myself surrounded by idiots.
